Well Done to Our Fire Fighters

We have been monitoring the bushfires to the south of our property over the last 2 weeks. Fortunately they came no closer than about 12 kilometres and at no stage posed any immediate threat. Given that our main access is along Dolcoath Road to the north, we were able to safely stay open throughout this period.

With some decent rainfall it now seems the fires are suppressed although not totally extinguished. We compliment those who fought the fire and continue to do so – it was an amazing  effort over an area of 28,500 hectares!!

In the meantime we believe any ongoing risk has almost totally abated and we are open to welcome our guests for a relaxing wilderness experience.
